Ask Jo and Colin
This issue, Collin and I received a letter from a guy here at Butte, who's in need of a little dating advice. His question reads:
"Dear Jo and Collin, I'll call myself "Tom" and I'm taking out this girl I really like for the first time this week. I'm kinda broke right now, from buying books and stuff, but I got this coupon book in the mail, with a two-for-one dinner special. Is it kosher to use this coupon on a date, or will it make me look lame? I really want to impress this girl."
Jo: Zack, I'm one of those chicks who digs a guy with a practical side. My boyfriend wanted to take me to Red Lobster last week, but there was like an hour wait. I'm not big on eating there anyway, so I suggested Hometown Buffet. We totally had a good time, and left stuffed, and it only cost like $20. However, a first date is like a first impression. It only happens once. You want your lady to feel special, so I don't think a first date is the right time for that coupon. After that, if you go out again, use it! If she's that superficial, you can't afford her. Let me just say, in closing, that I think this question is just masking the real problem; you obviously have a fixation with oral sex.
Collin: Well I do not agree with this if you take a girl on a date and she doesn't have sex with you then there is no reason to call her back, and if you take her on a date and she does have sex with you there is no reason to call her back. So if you are cheap and use your two-for-one there is a 50/50 chance you're going to get laid anyways.
Write in! Collin and I will try to answer your question, on any topic, to the best of our abilities. Just remember, we're just a couple of dumb-ass college students too, so here's the disclaimer: Jo and Collin is a registered trademark of the Butte College Roadrunner (kinda) and any opinion or advice given should be taken with a grain of salt, or not at all.
