The Roadrunner's baseball teams is beginning a new season, looking to build off their 2-0 finish in last year's playoffs. But it doesn't seem that they are not coming out so strong in the beginning of the season.

Coach Ferro is looking forward to working with his playoff-experienced team this season. His team finished first in the Golden Valley Conference with an overall record of 28-14-1 but got knocked out early in playoffs. "The team was inexperienced last season so the returners will now know what to expect in the playoffs," said Coach Ferro.

As the new sports editor I have learned that my main responsibility is writing a column. When I took this position I thought, how cool is that? I have been playing baseball for 15 years, and now I get to write about it.

This is the first column I have ever written, so why not sit down and write about baseball, the only thing I'm most comfortable with.
